Foodloverscommunity was born from the passion of Melissa and Donna, a dynamic mother-daughter duo with decades of experience raising beloved pups. With a background in breeding Poodles and active involvement in the Poodle Club of America, Melissa and Donna have cultivated a network of top-notch groomers, trainers, veterinarians, and dog product specialists. Their mission? To unite proud dog moms worldwide and share their wealth of knowledge and resources.

In addition to offering indispensable tips for optimal dog care, Melissa and Donna craft original, nutritionally sound treat recipes that have captured the attention of dog lovers globally, earning acclaim on social platforms like Pinterest and Facebook. Their bestselling dog treat cookbook, "Proud Dog Chef: Tail-Wagging Good Treat Recipes," is available online through retailers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

In 2020, they unveiled their second book, "Foodloverscommunity: The Ultimate Guide for New Puppy Parents," a comprehensive 13-chapter puppy survival manual.

Once a television news reporter, I've transitioned into the world of blogging.

After four years of covering local news from snowy Pennsylvania to sunny Texas, my insatiable curiosity led me to the realm of dogs. Now, I spend my days interviewing experts and sharing vital canine knowledge with fellow dog moms worldwide.

My love for puppies ignited in childhood. Today, I raise two cherished pooches: Diego, an 8-year-old Chihuahua, and Gigi, a 6-year-old toy Poodle. They're my heart and soul, and their adventures are documented on Instagram. Follow us for a glimpse into our world!
